Jan Harm Koolstra

Jan Harm Koolstra studied Electrical Engineering at the (in those days) Technical University Twente. He obtained his PhD in 1990 at the University of Amsterdam on a thesis called "Statical biomechanics of the human masticatory system".

He is performing research on masticatory biomechanics at the department of Functional Anatomy of the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam where he recently was acknowledged as Senior Scientist by the Interuniversity Research School of Dentistry (acknowledged by the KNAW).
