SARA's participation at SC|05

The SC|05 is an international conference in high performance computing, networking and storage, which is being held yearly in autumn in the United States. This year Seattle (WA) hosted the conference and exhibition for about 6,000 participants. Almost every organization with activities in large-scale ICT has attended SC|05.

SC|05 took place from November 12-18 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.

As in previous years, the Stichting Nationale Computerfaciliteiten (NCF) has organized a “Dutch Pavilion”. In this booth, with a floor space of 10 by 10 meters (900 Square feet), scientists of a number of Dutch institutes have presented their research.

At SC|05 SARA gave several demonstrations and presentations.
