SARA's participation at SC09 in Portland 14-20 November

SC09 is an international conference in high performance computing, networking, storage and analysis, which is being held yearly in autumn in the United States. This year Portland (Oregon, USA) hosted the conference and exhibition for about 10,000 participants. Almost every organization with activities in large-scale ICT attended SC09.

SC09 took place from 14-20 November at the Oregon Convention Center.

As in previous years, the Stichting Nationale Computerfaciliteiten (NCF) has organized, with among others SARA, a "Dutch Pavilion" on the exhibition at the "Research Exhibits". In a large booth, scientists of a number of Dutch institutes have presented their activities in supercomputing, advanced ICT or visualization systems, networking and grid.
