Programming on the GPU with CUDA training on December 9 at SARA
On December 9, SARA in collaboration with Delft University has organized a one-day introductory training about the programming on the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) with Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA).
CUDA is an extension of the C programming language, which can be used to program the GPU in an easy way. Knowledge of the C language can be helpful during the Lab sessions, but is not required.
In this 1-day course the basic principles were given to understand programming on the GPU. The attendees could do things themselves during a laboratory session. After this course they were able to make simple CUDA programs which can be run on the GPU.
