SARA's department High Performance Computing & Visualization offers services on a variety of top-of-the-line hardware platforms, from an IBM POWER6 system to (Linux) clusters. Complementing the computing power of these systems, SARA offers expertise and complete solutions.

Anyone with the need for (extra) computational power can get access to the HPC systems. Traditionally, HPC is the domain of university scientists. But a growing number of people from industry, government and institutes and from non-traditional fields of research are finding their way to these facilities.

In addition to plain computing power we can help you getting started on our large multi-user platforms, installing, porting or managing your software. To benefit fully from the power of our parallel systems we can (assist you to) parallellize your software.

For people working in academic research, often government funding is available to get access to SARA's high-performance facilities. We can help them to find the way to those funds.
