SARA's
contribution to European projects
SARA participates in a number of international projects:
DEISA
Distributed European Infrastructure for Supercomputing Applications
(DEISA) aims at combining the HPC infrastructures of eleven European
HPC centers to form one single large Grid infrastructure. The national
Supercomputer Huygens forms part of the DEISA infrastructure.

EGEE-III
The project Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) is the largest multi-disciplinary
Grid infrastructure for scientific research in the world.

PRACE
Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) prepares the creation
of a persistent pan-European HPC service, consisting of several Tier-0
centers providing European researchers with access to capability computers
and forming the top level of the European HPC ecosystem.
