Succesvolle 25ste SARA Superdag

Op donderdag 3 december 2009 organiseerde SARA een bijzondere editie van de jaarlijkse Superdag. Dit jaar betrof het om een jubileum; de Superdag werd namelijk voor de 25ste keer gehouden.

Het thema van deze feestelijke Superdag was:
Supercomputing for a sustainable future.

SARA was zeer verheugd dat prof. dr. Jack Dongarra en dr. William Kramer hebben opgetreden als keynote speakers. Jack Dongarra is een Distinguished Professor in Computer Science van het EECS Department aan de University of Tennessee. William Kramer is Deputy Director van Blue Waters bij NCSA/University of Illinois.

Het evenement was bedoeld voor gebruikers van de nationale supercomputer Huygens en voor andere geïnteresseerden.

De 25ste SARA Superdag werd gehouden in de Turingzaal (Z011) op Science Park Amsterdam.
